Description

The user interface and ergonomics of the A5 system help simplify the workflow. With its 15” touchscreen, clinicians can easily select ventilation settings, which reduces the time needed for operation and lets them focus on patient care.

The A5 system offers a range of advanced ventilation modes, ensuring effective care whatever the patient’s acuity. Integrated spirometry provides additional information and thus supports careful decision-making.

The auxiliary oxygen/air flowmeters deliver a gas mixture through the nasal cannula, allowing clinicians to continue their clinical practice without increasing the risk of fire during surgery.

The A5 system complies with the IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) profile of the Patient Care Device (PCD) domain. The A5 system allows data transfer using the HL7 protocol, the industry reference. With the IHE PCD profile, the HL7 protocol is recognised by anaesthesia information systems and electronic medical record (EMR) systems as the true industry reference for its undisputed interoperability.

The A5 system’s extended work surface, comfortable footrest, central brake and integrated cable management system enhance the device’s mobility.
